This'll be a busy week for the GameCola YouTube page, folks; here's a heads-up of what's there, and tidings of the rubbish to come.
I mean, uh, great stuff.
The next round of videos are ready for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Episode 5: Rise from the Ashes: This Title Is Too Long. One or two new videos from the set will go up each day for the rest of the week. Take a gander at what we've got so far:
Also available is the first half of The GameCola Podcast #15, sequel to The GameCola Podcast #14, in which a whole bunch of yahoos from the staff get together to play the Nintendo DS game Drama Queens.
Unfortunately, we don't actually get to see any of the gameplay because it's a podcast, and you can't see words. Instead, you're treated to oversized pictures of an oversized cheeseburger, Paul Franzen, and other staff members. Normally I would name the other staff members who participated, but the way the previous sentence is worded, there's a much greater chance you'll think I'm calling Paul Franzen an oversized cheeseburger, which is funny.
Greetings, GameCola fans! For those of you afraid that GameCola was truly dead, fear not! We are only in a hibernative state while the new site comes online. Think of it as a coccoon, except instead of Wilford Brimley emerging you get snazzy videogame coverage and humor (and no diabetus).
In the meantime, we have part two of our Drama Queens podcast, featuring Paul Franzen, Mike Ridgaway, Captain Eric, Vangie Rich, and Matt Gardner enjoying a Mario Party-like game for the DS where players journey around a mall as vapid, petty teenage girls. Get out the scratching post, because things are about to get catty.
We have a special treat for you in this podcast. This time around, we have GameCola staff members Paul Franzen, Captain Eric, Mike Ridgaway, Matt Gardner, and Vangie Rich all together (in the same place!) playing Paul's new game, Drama Queens. It's a Mario Party-style game for the DS, and it brings out the cattiest parts of the everyone involved except, ironically, Vangie. Enjoy!
